more on this wall paper problem...
These are some of the Adult Swim wall papers that i made reference to in my previous blog about wall paper. The reason i like these is because of the way they use typography. It usually seems like the words : "Adult Swim" belong where they are, but in reality they dont its probably some thing they made up. Its funny, imaginative, and stimulating. For me these images are exciting because im always trying to find where it secretly says "adult swim"
this is another one from adult swim, and the text is again cleverly hidden. It says "not to be enjoyed". which is satyrical because oh course the fans enjoy it thats why they have down loaded this wall paper. its funny, ha ha!
I have tryed to create a layerd wall paper with shapes like stars and circles. I do alot of doodles that involve those two shapes but also include whrils or spiral shapes and i have yet to figure out how to make thosework for me.
*Scetches to come, i have done a few that i am not proud of but i cannot get them to post on this blog. It keeps telling my they are currupted or that they are not the right file type. i even tried saving one of them as a PDF file.

wall paper research
I started with typography, because i think words are visually interesting. I had find one that was titled "death by typography" but i could not up load the image, SO i will have it as a link. but it was super cool.
I was searching Portland in the old Google image search and I found this. I thought it was funny, and it kind of reminded me of adult swim. I also like waves and water. I think it is a powerful image because f the movement it shows. ALso I am probably going to get about 1/4 of my body covered in it via the medium of tattoo.

Uh, well Im originally a painting, drawing and print making student, but then i realized that i probably cant get a job with a degree in that, so I decided to take graphic design because i have always enjoyed drawing, and i am obsessed with fonts and types.
I have a little familiarity with Mac computers but it has been a while since i really used one. So this will be a refresher course in my Mac literacy.
